Brown Pelican

I'm quite pleased with the technique I used on this one. The line quality reminds me of some of the Shel Silverstein drawings and that makes me happy. Unfortunately, I'm learning that it's hard to duplicate success with something as fickle as drawing.

    Maybe this pelican's name is Sarah Cynthia Sylvia Stout, who wouldn't take the garbage out... and wanted to give you a challenge just to be obstinate. But I like this one!

    Oh no, you misunderstood. I love this bird. I'm saying that other birds with this technique - such as the Northern Gannet - weren't as successful as this one. This one was very cooperative.
